The winter dry season, roughly December to April, is the classic window, with the calmest seas, clearest water and the most predictable snorkeling weather. The wettest stretch runs across late spring to autumn, which can bring more showers though it rarely stops the snorkeling entirely. Water temperatures are comfortable for most of the year, warming into the summer months. Mornings generally give the flattest water, and the leeward shores stay calmer when trade winds build.
