The drier months, roughly December to May, tend to bring the calmest seas and the clearest water on Grenada's sheltered west coast, and that is the window most visitors aim for — the leeward bays stay usable when the windward side is churning. From roughly June to November the island is wetter and sits within the Atlantic hurricane season: Grenada is near the southern edge of that belt rather than squarely in the middle of it, but passing weather still reshapes boat days. Water stays warm through the year, and mornings are usually the calmest window before the trade wind builds.
