Curaçao sits far south, outside the main hurricane belt, which keeps its conditions remarkably consistent and snorkelable year-round — no season shuts the reef down. The coastline does get regular trade winds, and the wind picks up through the day, so the best, flattest, clearest snorkeling is almost always in the morning, especially at the exposed west-coast sites. Water temperatures run warm throughout the year.
